Old Window Coat Rack

Hey, now I am an arts and crafts kind of girl. I have made all kinds of crafts like: A dream jar, a Star Wars cribbage board (and yes I LOVE Star Wars!), a back heat pad, kleenex holders, makeup bag and many more. But this is just one of those creations.

                                                                       My coat rack:

So my mom committed a crime. She had this beautiful old window just sitting in our garage. And I kept telling her we need to use this! So I finally asked her if I could use it. I had no idea what I was going to make with it but I knew it would be awesome. I looked on pinterest asked my friends and family, and I finally found this.

All you have to do is find an old window, decorate it, screw in some hooks, hang it up and there you have it a beautiful coat rack.

Thanksgiving

Hi, since we have gotten into the holiday season I got the idea that I would share what my family traditions are. So first Thanksgiving. Every year all my whole family comes to our house to spend the day together. We play games, eat, watch football, eat, talk, eat, give noogies and did I mention we eat? Well maybe that is what you do also. But every year we have a tablecloth that we put on the table and we all write our names, the date and maybe a verse or two. We have had this tradition since 2006 and everyone still signs their names today! But we also do other things every year. This last thanksgiving we played a game everyone dreaded. I have to admit so did I.  It was the toilet paper game, But it had a twist.

Materials: Toilet paper

How to play: Pass around the T-P and take how ever much you would like. Then count how many squares everyone has individually. If you have an even number you tell one memory for every square you have. But if you have an odd number you say one thing your thankful for for each square you have. You take turns saying your memories or what you're thankful for. It is a great twist on a dreaded game and I would recommend that if any one does not want to participate encourage them to it is so much fun! (and you might just find some weird things about your family members.) Have a great thanksgiving full with fun, noogies and eating!
